@JennyENicholson my guess is they were prolly gonna post it to their instagram story - i know people who post a photo of the age rating that shows before a film, cus it has the title there. so if one scene is viral you could prolly accomplish the same thing by posting it. very intrusive tho

I saw Obsession and thought it was great but the theater experience was really weird. Was a full house and very reactive but I guess certain scenes have gone viral on tiktok? And when those certain scenes came up, all the kids pulled out their phones to record those scenes

I think the thing is, studios need to stop marketing things as true prequels that are canon to the story and return to concept of kid AUs that don't explain themselves a la Muppet Babies or all the scooby doo shows where they're children
