🎉 𝗪𝗲 𝗱𝗶𝗱 𝗶𝘁! 🗳️🔶 I’m so grateful to Liberal Democrat members for electing me to serve as our next Party President, with almost 70% of the vote. Thank you to everyone who voted for me, who made phone calls, hosted my visits, made a donation, distributed my leaflets and badges and much more. It has meant so much to me not just politically or professionally, but personally too. I couldn’t be more grateful or feel more humbled to have been part of these elections. It’s been an honour to spend this year travelling the country - from Caithness to Clacton! - meeting with awesome members, activists and campaigners fighting for the future of our communities and country. I’ve been inspired by awesome campaigning zeal, cracking policy ideas and efforts to reach out to underrepresented communities. Thank you all so much for what you do! A big thank you to my fantastic team for pulling out the stops week after week to coordinate my run, and to all the hardworking volunteers who have powered my campaign. Thank you also to fellow presidential candidate Prue for a really good-natured contest, and for her collaboration too. She is a class act and I look forward to working closely with her going forward. With the traditional parties failing to stand up to Reform’s division, I’m fired up to help ensure our party is ready to be the last line of defence against them. The fight for the soul of our country is on. From the beginning of my term on 1st January, I’ll be working across the party to broaden our reach, apply my youth work experience to engaging young voters ahead of votes at 16, and get battle-ready for next May’s elections for the Scottish Parliament, Welsh Senedd and councils and Mayors across England. I can’t wait to get started!

Instead of fixing GP waiting times, social care, or the housing crisis, Labour is reviving their decades-long obsession with ID cards. Your rights shouldn’t be conditional on downloading a government app.

Labour are rebuilding our NHS with record levels of investment. Other parties wouldn't do the same.
