A final walk into Leon - 18km today and 180km over the week. A beautiful sunny morning and the highlights were dozens of storks in the fields, the old streets of Leon and it's magnificent cathedral. ##BuenCamino

First rain arrived in the morning of Day 6 so a dark & wet departure from Bercianos. Welcome respite in El Burgo Ranero with cosy cafe and superb tortilla with stew! 27km day in total #BuenCamino

Super day from Carrion des Condes to Ledigos (24km). This includes the longest stretch without a stop - 17km. Tortilla & sausage tasted great after that. We went on an old little used, route at the end for excellent wildlife- eagle, warblers, skylarks and deer #BuenCamino

Another incredible day here in India, watching a young tiger stalk a herd of deer in the wild. India has done a brilliant job in conserving these magnificent animals and keeping their population healthy.
