@StacysPitaChips I got a defective box of pita chips yesterday, a 24 pack of 1.5oz naked chips. Strangely, 7 of the bags, while still sealed and puffed, were also completely empty! Other bags were filled inconsistently and one had a hole in it and was not puffed.

@TheDailyShow When are you planning to release another update of America (the book)? It's been twenty years, and it looks like not much has changed, so it should be a relatively simple rerelease, right?

@archeohistories “Some theories suggest it was an ancient pagan temple…” Did you ever notice that when something ancient is unexplained the experts say the pagans did it. Pagans must be a very skilled and intelligent group of people who seem to be everywhere.

A man in 1835 was digging a duck pond and accidentally uncovered a 104-foot tunnel made entirely of seashells... James Newlove was digging a pond in his garden in Margate, England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🇬🇧, when his shovel struck something unexpected—an opening that led to a long, winding underground passage. When he and his son lowered a lantern and ventured inside, they discovered one of the most mysterious subterranean wonders in Britain: a 104-foot tunnel entirely covered in seashells. Known today as the Shell Grotto, the passage’s walls and ceilings are decorated with an estimated 4.6 million shells—oysters, mussels, cockles, and whelks—arranged in intricate geometric and floral patterns. No one knows who built it or why. Some theories suggest it was an ancient pagan temple, others a secret meeting place, or even a Victorian-era folly. The absence of records and the precision of the design have kept its origins a mystery for nearly two centuries. The grotto was opened to the public in 1838 and remains one of Britain’s most enigmatic historical sites. Visitors still walk the same dimly lit tunnel, the shells glinting softly in the glow of modern lamps, an enduring monument to craftsmanship and mystery. Despite extensive study, radiocarbon dating has never been able to confirm when the shells were placed, leaving open the possibility that the grotto may be far older than its 19th-century discovery. #archaeohistories

@garyblack00 @DivesTech I'd vote it down. Will he only do a good job if he is offered a $1T carrot? Greedy much? Just make the cars cheaper by subtracting that amount from sales and spread the savings/wealth.

There is a near zero chance that $TSLA shareholders will vote down Elon’s new proposed comp plan at the Nov 6 shareholders’ meeting. As Wedbush analyst Dan Ives (@divestech) colorfully put it in a Yahoo Finance interview on October 23rd: "I have a better chance of starting for the New York Yankees than this comp package getting voted down." Amen.

@AboutNodKrai This is a silly, overly demanding time sink for ho-hum rewards. Like a chore with mediocre payoff. No rolling 7 day time period even, so if you don't get on for a few days at the start of the week you don't even accrue credit to the next set. You just miss it. Poorly implemented.

@dongke2287 @GenshinUniverse Unfortunately this isn’t like a “The Crew” situation. Genshin Impact is continuing to grow in size, and as it does, it’s just going to continue to become harder and harder to run on older hardware. It was an inevitability.

@Rothmus Bit of an oversimplification to push your misleading narrative, but I get it.

Mr. Moose denied lawful access to Kenneth Jackson, the Acting USIP President (as approved by the USIP Board). @DCPoliceDept arrived onsite and escorted Mr. Jackson into the building. The only unlawful individual was Mr. Moose, who refused to comply, and even tried to fire USIP’s private security team when said security team went to give access to Mr. Jackson.

It is much easier to hide corruption when the system is extremely inefficient. However, corruption sticks out like a sore thumb in an efficient system.
Jeff Lutz 🔋@thejefflutz

If Musk’s approach to @DOGE is so horrendous why doesn’t the opposition start their own DOGE? A better, faster, more effective one? Compete! Opposing congress, senators, & 11,000 media/pundits all with their thumbs up their asses. All talk, no action. People voted for change.

@elonmusk A system that provides some level of assurance that any one person cannot unilaterally violate human rights at will is considered a problem by you?

Exactly. This is just a case of asking federal workers to do what everyone else does. Fair.
