Our food prices are 11% lower than France. Norway’s food is 36% more expensive than ours, Denmark’s is 16% more expensive and Sweden’s is 9% more expensive. Our food is also cheaper here than Belgium, Ireland or Holland. What are we trying to fix here?

@lukerobertblack The fix you ask for is simple all public / private sector UK wages should be raised inline with my cherry picked countries Norway or Denmark so we can also enjoy the high prices while not affecting our living standards.

@lukerobertblack I understand young conservatives try and be edgy / bait. Great to know our food bills haven’t raised as much as your cherry picked countries. Personally my family weekly shop has raised by around £50 extra a week. So I spend less on other areas, reducing the local economy.

@NextGenPlayer So it would be fair to suggest that the physical market is around $512M a year. That’s a lot of money to potentially disrupt.

DC hasn’t released a dark gritty film since 2022 (The Batman). Marvel 2026 just released one of the most gritty, violent films I have seen in years (The Punisher: One Last Kill). Just watched super girl, I miss DC of the past.

Let’s discuss @Tensori_ltd Pools. I have played a lot of horror VR games, I play them meticulously, slowly taking in the art, then when I encounter anything, I move back, keep space, take it down. Pools has no jump scares, I think no NPC to encounter, but it’s terrifying!

@LeeHughes83 @virtua_reade I understand people are annoyed with PS on here, I love physical media also, but PS is simply the strongest selling brand alongside Nintendo. At launch people here hated the PS5, and even 5 years later are saying it’s a flop, it’s the 8th highest selling console of all time.

If PS6 doesn't sell well - and is $1000 - then third party won't support it. Sony's first party isn't strong enough to sustain a closed ecosystem. It isn't varied enough and hasn't been for a while. The best thing you can do is not financially support them.

Context: It's a patent dispute. Disney got sued by a company over the technology patents used for 4K and HDR streaming. A German court blocked their use of the tech for the time being until it gets worked out. What I don't get is why Disney in particular is the target when 4K and HDR are the norm on all platforms.

Disney+ has temporarily removed 4K UHD and HDR10 streaming in several European countries. “Following a recent court ruling affecting the technology we use to deliver 4K UHD and HDR, we have temporarily removed support for 4K UHD and HDR on Disney+. We are disappointed and share our customers’ frustration. We are working hard to restore support as quickly as possible.” For now, affected users are limited to 1080p SDR. Dolby Vision had already been removed earlier in Europe

Wait up digital shouldn’t mean PSN outages affects your gaming. Online multiplayer games irrelevant of media format will be affected by outages. Single player story games digitally stored on the SSD is exactly the same as physical media installed on the same SSD. Data is data.

@ivvanex PSVR2 is on par with PCVR for quarter the price, and has exclusives which are great.

Can someone tell me what's the incentive of staying with PS once PS6 is out? Like, seriously. Explain to me what PS offers to consumers that we can't find anywhere else (aside from 2 exclusive games every 3 years). There's literally nothing they offer that's beneficial to us.

Removes Dolby Vision and 3D support, and also removed 4K and HDR10. Charges £149.90 for services they don’t support. And piracy is wrong
