I've seen (& signed) the petition going around. But I think the much more powerful response if you're hoping for some kind of future for the franchise is:
Log on the week of June 9th.
Dont' get me wrong, Sony execs aren't gonna fall to their knees in tears and insta-green-light D3 or anything. But seeing SO many players out there logging on to give one last hurrah to the franchise that meant so much to them - it'll speak volumes in its own way.
At the very least, we'll have one more window of fun enjoying the last batch of new content in a game that meant so much to us. At best, it'll show how passionate the community still is, and just how badly so many of us want SOME kind of future for this franchise, no matter how long it might take to build.
I'll see you out there in June. It's gonna be one hell of a ride.

Iconic that this is how the game began I miss the prep and execute, we used to stop hunts to run gather quests to resupply mega pots etc.
Needing to hit up the minegarde sales.

At the age of 16, me and my best friend (who gave me the name 'rebulast'), picked up our midnight release editions of Halo 3, sped home, told our parents it was important, and played more Halo than you could imagine.

I think this is the angriest I've been about something in my life. This was a completely avoidable situation and it's fucking embarrassing how this was handled for years.
Doesn't matter how many times we screamed from the rooftops begging for our favorite community game not to be ruined, all to be ignored by a small group of executives/higher ups who could give less of a shit, as long as they get to cash out their vested sony acquisition shares for MILLIONS upon MILLIONS. Hope it was worth it fuckfaces

I’ll tell you right now: If Bungie gets dissolved by Sony, I’m going to hard SOB for two days straight. And if anybody tells me “it’s not that deep”, fuck off. As a creator, a player, and at times, an influencer, this is so much more than the fate of a game or an IP. It’s more than a studio. It’s a people and a foundation built over decades. It’s livelihoods. And if it cracks, it’s those livelihoods that are fallen. I’m honestly so scared.

I just can't come to terms with this man

Maybe im just stupid but destiny 3 seems like such a clear and obvious choice and it infuriates me that whoever is calling the shots seems ok with letting the destiny IP just fade away into nothing
