-My favorite wagon of the season might be fading big men against Wembanyama. With Normal Powell and Tyler Herro out, we’re seeing about the biggest PRA Adebayo has seen in years. This seems like a line too good to be true.
-Not only is Bam under this line in 4/4 games this season (including some easy matchups against the Hornets and Grizzlies), but he has 40+ PRA in just 3/L26 games dating back to March 2025
-Rebounding is going to be a struggle for all bigs vs Wemby and the Spurs this season. Only four players have more than seven rebounds vs the Spurs this season, and just 1 has more than 10. In an easy rebounding matchup last week vs Charlotte, Bam had just six boards in 13 rebound chances.
-But it’s the scoring ability of Bam vs this Spurs defense that scares me. In his last two matchups vs Wemby, Bam took just 23 FGA COMBINED, scoring 20 and 6 Points. While he’s expanding his game to the three-point line this season, the Spurs are giving up the 5th LEAST points to Centers this season.
-Without Powell and Herro, Bam will be treated like the primary scorer for the Heat. He should struggle with that pressure, resorting to Mitchell/Wiggins to pick up the pace. This is just too high a line to ignore.
