Jaxon’s parents Brett Smith and Gina LeeAnn Smith To the Parents- who raised these leaders the right way: Thank you. You poured into them long before they stepped on this field. You taught them discipline in the early mornings, integrity when no one was watching, and courage to stand firm in a world that pulls the other direction. The Leadership Award is a special recognition given during the final Awards session. It honors one or more athletes who stand out not just for athletic performance, but for embodying the core values of the camp: leadership, character, discipline, accountability, and growth — on and off the field. The traits instilled in me and many other Sailors by Senior Chief Sidney Smith. What It Means! This award aligns perfectly with @QBimpact mission: developing dynamic athletes and better people. Camp IMPACT emphasizes that football is a vehicle for building leaders who compete with honor, serve others, and live with conviction. The Leadership Award celebrates athletes who: • Lead by example — Demonstrate initiative, encourage teammates, and maintain a positive attitude even under pressure • Show character and integrity — Display trust, courage, humility, and sportsmanship. This includes helping younger or less experienced campers, owning mistakes, and prioritizing team success. • Embody camp pillars — Things like “iron sharpens iron” (Proverbs 27:17), relentless work ethic, faith-driven purpose, and off-field maturity • Make an impact — Influence others positively, show growth throughout the 3-day event, and represent the “better person off the field” philosophy that sets Camp Impact apart.  It’s not necessarily the “MVP” for pure talent or stats — it’s often for the camper who elevates the entire group through leadership qualities that last beyond the camp. Beyond thankful for this weekend and honored to be named QB Impact MVP.
None of this happens without the people who invested in me long before anyone knew my name.
Thank you @Coach_JD38 seeing me and giving a 5th grader a chance to play QB with the Junior Jags. For @lowill99 mentorship and having the belief. Thank you @CoachGeorge5 for taking me under your wing in 8th grade and pushing me to grow every day.
And thank you to @BlazeBerlowitz for the support and encouragement. Having a fellow Oklahoma QB in my corner means a lot.
Every step has prepared me for the next one. Excited for what’s ahead. Back to work!

Camp IMPACT 2026~ Perspective Message ⬇️
“Perspective Changes Everything”
Camp IMPACT is just 2 days away—and this year, we’re challenging every athlete to master one of the most powerful tools in life: perspective.
In football and in life, the play doesn’t change—but how you see it does.
One athlete sees a missed block as failure.
Another sees it as the exact moment he decides to get stronger, smarter, and more disciplined.
Same situation. Completely different outcome.
At Camp IMPACT, we train perspective on purpose:
• When the heat is crushing you on the field → Perspective says: “This is building the mental toughness champions are made of.”
• When you fail a drill → Perspective says: “This is refining me. Iron sharpens iron.”
• When doubt creeps in → Perspective says: “I was made for this. God didn’t bring me this far to quit now.”
Biblical truth we’re standing on:
“Set your minds on things above…” (Colossians 3:2)
And “We walk by faith, not by sight.”
(2 Corinthians 5:7)
Your eyes will see sweat, soreness, and challenges.
Your renewed mind will see growth, brotherhood, legacy, and the man you’re becoming.
