At QCH’s Queens Center for Gay Seniors, we held a memorial service to mourn, remember and celebrate the lives of the people lost from our community over the last few years. QCGS older adults were hands-on in making this a meaningful and unique experience for the community. 🫶

It's a tough day for our trans community. On this Trans Day of Remembrance, we honor the many lives stolen globally this year, just for living their truth. But no amount of hate will extinguish Queens' love for this community, which was at the heart of our TDOR event last night.

This funding will go a long way to renovate the center, which serves hundreds of community members from all walks of life on a daily basis. An investment in a community center is an investment in public safety. In our economy. In the intergenerational stability of our families.
