East Coast Railway is the highest profit-making railway zone in India, headquartered in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. If sections like Palasa-Ichchapuram can be moved to South Coast Railway(HQ at Vizag), why can’t all Odisha regions be brought under ECoR? Some major parts of Odisha like Balasore, Rourkela, and Mayurbhanj etc are still outside of ECoR’s jurisdiction. What’s stopping this rationalisation?

Then also you don't have money for Brahmapur @EastCoastRail. How to compensate the escalation due to transfer of Palasa -Icchapuram section? Transfer Rourkela, Baripada and Baleshwar to Odisha sanction 500cr to Brahmapur.

The 3 mineral rich states which govt keeps digging to provide these to rest of India have a big Zero 😳😳

@manas_muduli It's a national headline that our neighbouring state is building a metro out of own funds. But sadly we have shelved our very own metro project.

Bhubaneswar is growing rapidly in area, population, and traffic. The Metro project is virtually dead. Odisha is making a big mistake by not planning ahead. Metro infra takes years to build, by the time the need becomes urgent, it may be too late. The time to act is now.
