@LeeHAuthor Remember a big storyline where a kid was miserable and called her parents to come and pick her up to bring her home. After a 2 day drive there was a last minute swerve where she changed her mind just before they arrived and wanted to stay.

I’ve just seen a reference to O-Town and my brain’s gone to a show C4 aired in the summer holidays called “Bug Juice”. Anyone remember it? I got properly into it, I can recall being in my nan and grandad’s caravan, completely invested in some sort of love triangle. Halcyon days.

Brandon Sanderson explains why Rian Johnson's The Last Jedi is so bad: "The bad stuff in [The Last Jedi] is so bad. The fact that it is a slow paced chase through space in a world where people have FTL travel. Like, why are the enemy slowly chasing this convoy. Why? This isn't a plot hole. I sat in the theater. I'm like, 'Warp ahead of them.' ... 'Lightspeed. Lightspeed ahead of them.' ... I'm okay with the dropping bombs even though it's dumb and makes you be like, 'Wait. What?' But what bothers me is the pacing and the plotting makes no sense. The story makes no sense. Luke is the travesty. The salt planet's cool looking." Is he just touching the tip of the iceberg here? What else makes this movie so bad?

Babylon Zoo: Spaceman (1996). Originally used for a Levi's jeans ad in 1995 after a rare demo version was played on a Manchester radio station - that's how we rolled in the '90s! This was the only real hit for the Wolverhampton indie rockers when it was released the following year. Top 10 across all of Europe, No 1 in the UK, France and Germany, and then they faded away...
