@Thomasdfamily05 @_HeHateMee_ No, the refs called a foul, she didnt complain for one, but she got non contact injury on the play. Chicago challenged the foul and it was overturned. SHE did not return. That said she missed at least 5 easy shots and kept fumbling the ball. This was a fastbreak she fucked up.

@StacieGerbyo Not at all, CC definitely yes. Sophie only gets attention because of CC. She's a bench player that was in the league 5 years before CC was drafted. She averages 8ppg/2.8rpg/1.4apg. If she wasnt playing with CC no one would pay her any attention.

I appreciate the nuance in your opinion, but there is a difference between popularity, appeal and being the face of the league. Caitlin Clark is the most popular player in the WNBA, and the biggest draw. She’s not the face because she’s not creating a new standard for winning (yet). She does not have accomplishments that people want to take (yet). What team is everyone trying to beat? The Aces. What player is everyone trying to match? A’ja Wilson. The standard for winning is A’ja. Michael Jordan became the face of the NBA because he became the standard by which every player is measured. Everyone wanted to stop him. Caitlin isn’t there.

CC can put up numbers too. They are dangerous, CC can kill you but still need to worry about KM. Deadly Duo, no one wants them 1st rd in playoffs.
