@aincomeinvestor $QQQI not designed to outperform pure play Nasdaq its a ballast. Paying bills in retirement or in job loss is huge benefit & beats selling stock in down market to pay bills
dont forget its tax deferred until u sell shares. If u never sell, heirs get shares in stepped up basis
English

Pays the bills and for your vacations if you lose your 9-5 but will underperform the indexes.
That’s literally about it.
$QQQI

What is the downside of a fund like this? I have heard a lot of buzz about $QQQI and $SPYI, but haven't looked into them much Is this something I should be investing in at 19?

@MsVeilMoney $AMZN , $GOOGL , $V (But I already get them all in $SCHG so will stick to that route 😂)
English

@SCHDaccumulator Had the option to, But stayed out of it. Will get it when it’s included in the index. Ha

@TrackNetWorth @FlippieFinance This is the way. Prefer the certainty of wealtn with $VOO versus the hope and a gamble on a single company
English

@FlippieFinance 500 a month in VOO compounds like a snowball, but a $10k stock splash could burn fast if you pick wrong.
English

@FlippieFinance $500 a month for 30 years into $VOO
Odds you happen to find the one single company stock that pans out is low probability.
Just own the market
English

@megrogs26 Dependent upon age to an extent. But as of today I’d pick just one ETF like $SCHG and start piling into it to get the ball rolling and some compounding weight behind it
English

@megrogs26 Smart.Did the same thing about a year back. Kept some in my HYSA but moved a big portion to $SGOV. I also shave off 30% of every dividend I receive from stocks & buy SGOV then reinvest remaining 70% into equities.This keeps me sane & safe feeling for tax reserves as income grows
English

@SCHDaccumulator Nice! What was the strategy or reasoning for getting rid of $JEPQ ?
I use it as a yield pump by reinvesting the monthly dividends from JEPQ into $SCHD
Basically prewiring the machine for years is the plan then down the road I can switch the dividend routing to use as income

@DiviSniper Thank you @DiviSniper . I some days/night are just harder. But the goal is in sight and you’re right a lot of the heavy lifting is behind me. Now it’s just keeping my hand on the steering wheel and keeping my foot a little on the gas pedal
English

This hits home and I can totally relate. Incredible perspective. Coming from a negative net worth to $2M in a decade is a massive achievement, but the mental toll of the final stretch is very real. Hang in there, you’ve earned the right to let the portfolio do the heavy lifting for a bit. Sunday nights get a lot easier from here. 🙌

@BartWinklerShow A good value for money experience for those that have kids and enjoy baseball. Even if it is a different flavor of baseball

@stoolpresidente Vegas used to be fun and was even affordable on food/drink & entertainment. Now it has turned into a big shopping mall designed to squeeze every dollar from you around every corner. You feel exploited the whole time. The good values that could once be found are gone forever.
