@LegionHoops @trevorlane As someone who’s had that as a college goalkeeper, it’s a lot more painful and impactful than it sounds. Can barely put any pressure on a dominant toe

REPORT: Austin Reaves played through a left big toe sprain in the playoffs, per @trevorlane.
Reaves was supposed to miss 2-4 weeks, but avoided walking on it during off days in order to continue playing vs. Wolves.

@ChargersMemes Only thing I’d say is, Mike Evan’s, Davante Adams and Deandre Hopkins all ran slower 40 times

Our WR core is slow again, but I’ll take slow over ass
Add some speed early tomorrow and this group might end up being fairly decent

Tre Harris was drafted in round 2 pick 55 in the 2025 draft class. He scored a 9.23 #RAS out of a possible 10.00. This ranked 293 out of 3816 WR from 1987 to 2025. ras.football/ras-informatio…

BREAKING: The #Chargers are signing WR Stephen A. Smith to a 3-year $90M deal.
Welcome to LA @stephenasmith ⚡️

@KrissBergTweets Not worth it. Save yourself from the subconscious desire that comes after trying it, to convince yourself that it’s actually as good as everyone says it is. It’s not, your life won’t change

@DanReese21 Congratulations Dan. Patience = payoff is the best feeling.

Lack of financial literacy is a big problem.
For most kids, our education system fails to teach them about saving, investing, compounding, taxes, interest rates, debt, etc.
Leaving adults to figure it out for themselves (or not).
The good news is we parents can close the gap and empower our kids with knowledge.
My oldest daughter just turned 10 – so we think it’s time she starts to learn about money.
To start, she counted her piggy bank. In her 10 years she’s saved $426 (from b-day cards, chores, etc.).
Then we set up a bank account for her. Our agreement is The Bank of Dad™ will 100% match any deposit until she’s 18. So post-match she’s starting w $852.
She also got a debit card, a savings account (parents can set/fund the rate – she’s getting 10%), and a brokerage account.
There are a few great apps to consolidate all this activity (we’re using Greenlight).
We can easily add money to her account, set up allowances for chores, and bucket her $ by saving/investing/spending. Others can also gift $ into her account.
I’m excited to teach her about all this while having fun along the way.
If she averages a $50/mo contribution and compounds at 10%, she’ll have ~$15K when she’s 18. A nice head start.
But my hope is a lifetime of financial literacy will be the real gift.

@DanReese21 Agreed, As a consumer, when I’m thinking about where I want a treat I want to KNOW what I’m getting when I think of your spot. I don’t want to have to wonder and then perhaps decide elsewhere. Essentially help me make the decision!

Consumers don’t always want more choices.
We have a stand in PPG Paints Arena (home of the Penguins).
In 2018 we launched with a streamlined menu of 5 shakes. At the time, narrowing our menu to only 5 shakes felt impossible.
“What if people want mint, or caramel, or…?!”
In 2019, we cut to 4 shakes to drive operational simplicity. No consumer pushback.
Then in subsequent seasons we went to 3, then 2, and these past few seasons we’ve only had 1 shake.
Our sales with 1 shake on the menu are ~50% higher than when we had 5.
This one shake has a lot of mass appeal, so nearly everyone is still happy.
Turns out efficiency matters a lot more than choice for stand revenue.
It’s all about how many fans can we serve in 15 min increments (pre-game and intermissions). How fast we can get through a 150-person line.
By offering only 1 option, we can serve 700+ premium shakes in a single game. Most of that volume falls in ~45 mins of rush time.
Of course the Arena is an extreme example. Our customers want options in our retail stores.
But even there, over the years we’ve cut from 55 flavors to ~20.
Don’t assume more choices will drive more revenue.

@FranchiseMnA How realistic do you think this is to expect at a majority of franchises?

@Boris_Jordan @BzCannabis @Curaleaf_Inc This is great Boris. Have a quick question for you, please DM me when you have a moment. Thank you
English

Thanks @BzCannabis for having me on stage today to discuss my new role as Chairman and CEO of @Curaleaf_Inc and the progress our team has made to streamline and unite our organization. Importantly, we also discussed the challenges facing the broader cannabis industry and our strategy to navigate this current environment. benzinga.com/markets/cannab… $CURA $CURLF

@FranchiseBob @DanReese21 Maybe they didn’t like the name… sheesh
How do you (or do you) combat bad reviews? Whether verbally, ignoring, etc.
English

@DanReese21 One of our restaurants got three terrible reviews on Yelp- three weeks before we opened 🤦
Yelp would not take them down. However, if we bought an ad package……….

The Moxy Hotel remained OPEN during Hurricane Milton. Power was restored yesterday.
Bravo TEAM!
If you’re wondering, here’s how our hotels prepare for a hurricane.
1. Block a certain amount of guest rooms to house team members who will work during the storm.
2. Order pallets of water and extra food. Ensure bars are well stocked.
3. Move all outdoor furniture and anything that can “fly” inside.
4. Fill large trash cans and 5-gallon buckets with water in case the city shuts off the water.
5. Prepare housekeeping and food and beverage schedules and develop plans for those team members staying and not staying in the hotel.
6. Place as many valeted cars in the covered garage as possible.
7. Inform guests about preparedness and contingency plans for services and amenities.
8. Be ready for anything, make the best of it, and prioritize the well-being of team members and guests.

We opened the amazing Moxy St. Pete, Florida 6 weeks ago. Milton just took out one of our beautiful palms.

@USMNT Must feel good to post this. Feel free to do it again and again and again and again and again.

@DegenCPA22 Why not, like a sample at Costco, answer and then see that he becomes a client of yours?

@FranchiseMnA Wow, big news! Curious to hear more as it comes out. And if Pizza Hut is typically a franchisor that has a tighter or looser reign on its franchisees.

@sovereignbrah Some great thoughts here. Question, what do you mean by “the singing”? Godly men love praise & worship, it’s biblical.
English

Basically every pretty Christian girl I’ve spoken to in the past year has had the same complaints about dating:
They want to be wives — but the single men at their church aren’t particularly masculine, and guys never ask them out.
They ALL say this. It’s the same story EVERY time.
Further; I know a lot of tough, masculine men that would ask these women out in a heartbeat. Few of them have a desire to go to church. Not because they don’t care about going to church. They want to go to church, but feel repulsed by the general effeminacy of the experience when they go. They aren’t into the singing, the obvious effeminacy and weakness of the preaching, etc.
They’re interested in hard-hitting, uncompromising biblical truths — not an experience that feels like it’s tailored towards women.
The fact that churches are completely failing to attract masculine men tells me something is deeply wrong with the church in America. It needs to be fixed.
Lose those men, and you’ve lost the country.
