As we celebrate the acquittal of six of the Filton 24, we must also re-center Gaza where the massacres continue daily, most recently this morning. The Filton 24 and @Prisoners4Pal embody the bravery and sacrifice of those who have taken action in defense of Gaza. The genocide never ended but neither has the fight to shut down Elbit and all the weapons companies and institutions with the blood of Palestine’s martyrs on their hands.

🚨 The Israeli occupation has killed 20 Palestinians since dawn, including a paramedic and 10 children and women. 📌 Violations by the Israeli occupation continue on all levels as today’s group of medical evacuees has also been blocked from leaving. 📌 50 Palestinians in immediate need of medical evacuation were prevented from leaving today. 📌 Around 20,000 Palestinians are in urgent need of medical evacuation as Gaza remains under total siege. 📌 If the Israeli occupation were to abide by the agreement, thousands of Palestinians would still be forced to wait up to 400 days to receive the treatment they immediately need. 📌 Now that evacuations have been blocked on the third day, there is no clarity on when the 20,000 Palestinians in need will be able to receive treatment. Mamdani applauded the cops who shot a 22 year old Bangladeshi man going through a mental health crisis. They then detained the family, took their phones away, demanded passwords and didn’t allow them to go to the hospital to see him. They called 911 for medical help, not NYPD.

BREAKING: In response to the brutal NYPD shooting of their son and brother, 22-year-old Jabez Chakraborty on Monday, January 26th, the Chakraborty family issued the following statement: We are shocked and outraged by the NYPD’s treatment of our son and brother, Jabez Chakraborty, and our family. We called for help. We called 911 for an ambulance to provide medical attention for our son, who was in emotional distress. We did not call the police. Instead of medical responders, the NYPD arrived and shot our son multiple times right in front of us. As our son was being shot, we were terrified that what happened to Win Rozario was going to happen to Jabez.

If she actually did her job and used the power she has to strip Zionist settler organizations of their 501(c)(3) status — a bill Mamdani introduced years ago but has mostly stayed silent on since running for mayor and cozying up to Letitia James — none of these protests would need to exist. If she enforced the law by blocking these organizations from facilitating displacement, illegal land sales, and settlement expansion, the burden wouldn’t fall on vulnerable Palestinians, Muslims, and small anti-Zionist Jewish groups to put their bodies on the line. The fact that she chooses to condemn those protesting instead of the institutions doing the harm shows exactly where the real priorities and power are. She does support terrorism, the israeli kind.
