@Acearoni @Qerb2D i'm also a G&W main, and i think i know what's going on here the dair isn't actually important here. it's more that you were vertically positioned perfectly for a super long waveland try recreating this without the dair, and just airdodge cardinal left into the waveland

I'm still new to Comp Melee *tech wise* so I was curious, is this a known mechanic for GnW in Smash? Attempted DSmash L-Cancel but I slid pretty far and I can't manage to get it consistently? @Qerb2D

@Acearoni It looks like you auto cancelled the d-air, and then wave landed back on side plat afterwards. Definitely a pretty frame tight maneuver here
