ESPN Sources: Cowboys are trading three-time All-Pro LB Micah Packers to the Green Bay Packers.
Parsons and the Packers already have reached agreement on a four-year, $188 million contract. @DavidMulugheta of @Athletesfirst had a hand in the trade and ultimately negotiating the record-breaking contract that includes $120 million fully guaranteed at signing and makes Parsons the highest-paid non-QB in NFL history.

We are excited to announce Peter Berry will be trading in his crimson jersey for an orange one. Peter has officially signed with Hannover United in Germany where he will play wheelchair basketball professionally.🏀
Congratulations Peter!

We shouldn’t be focusing on the fact that these athletes are in chairs, why can’t we just celebrate their accomplishments? Side note, a majority of the Alabama women’s team and staff represent our country in all international competitions. They represent our country in the best way possible with how seriously they take that responsibility. You should be proud of them.

Alabama women’s wheelchair basketball team just won a national championship.

The point is that these “jokes” are what sets our sport back. We don’t get taken seriously, the USA wheelchair basketball team is the best in the world but yet we are one of the last countries without a professional league for wheelchair basketball. Also, as I said, the original tweet was not what I was taking offense to as much as the replies to it that were obviously being disrespectful to people with disabilities.
