Isn’t it the billions in taxpayer dollars to subsidize the fossil fuel industry that’s the real problem? We aren’t given a choice as to whether to prop up this welfare industry, and afaik we pay to have the free market price artificially depressed. Free choice would mean no more subsidies to big oil and letting the free market set the price.

The free market lowers prices. Bureaucratic red tape raises them. My Fuel Choice and Deregulation Act does exactly what it says: ✅ Gives Americans more fuel options. ✅ Removes the EPA barriers blocking vehicle conversions and alternative fuels. This lets competition drive down prices.
