@QuayCoffee Sadly TM is among the worst examples. All of those cozy booths are eaten up all day by single people camped out. It's one of the best places to commune in the city but it's usually not possible. Make the big table in the back the laptop table and leave a few spaces open!

The whole idea of casual third places, where people hang out and intersect with loose connections, is basically dead. It's just online-ordered take out, delivery, or camping out all day with headphones on.
