#Hyderabad: Sheikh Rehan (20), amazon delivery boy was seriously injured after he was thrashed by a group of people led by KP Vishal Goud, a relative of Quthbullahpur MP KP Vivekananda on August 5. Rehan a native of Nanded, Maharashtra, is working with Amazon in Hyderabad for past 6 mnths. On Aug 5 when he went to deliver a package to customer he was asked to deliver the parcel to another address, but as he is new to the city it took him time to reach the said location, upon reaching he apologized for being late yet the group of 5-7 Telugu speaking people started arguing to which he said doesn't understand the language as he hails from Maharashtra. Rehan was asked to show his Aadhar card and when he did he was beaten by the group of men without saying a word. He was thrashed with sticks resulting in multiple fractures. Ayaz brother of Rehan says when he went to Jeedimetla police station after the incidence,the police refused to take action against Vishal Goud however CI refutes the allegations. MBT Spokesperson @amjedmbt raised the issue and demands strict action against the accused.
