@eliweisss Easiest way to avoid this is to exclude folks who just purchased. You can crank the volume up for those who are engaging, but once you get the sale? Back the eff off!
Common decency (let alone sense) is hard to find in ecomm these days.
English

@itschadross This isn't just bad form. It's illegal.
Hoping someone sues them for such gross behavior to get sales.
English

@itschadross Soda water asap, then oxi-clean soak/dab until clean.
English

@mbertulli They are vibe coding the humanity right out of everything.
The pendulum swing will be fierce.
English

@AndyTheGiant I definitely need to curb my instagram addiction, and have also been trying to keep my camera on me more to capture real moments. Here are some shots from the orchid showcase at the Denver Botanic Gardens that I keep meaning to share on my feed lol

English

@DenneyDara Making an ad, and making a good ad, are two very different things...
This would be really off-brand for them.
How are folks accounting for that?
English

@JGoodwillieV @drinkolipop But it didn't "nail it", as the logo is wildly off-brand, and there are still very obvious spelling mistakes.
This isn't the flex people think it is. It is sloppy at best, lazy at worst.
English

These were also generated using AI. I gave it a picture of the @drinkolipop Root Beer and told it to make an image of some college kids drinking it. Then I told it to make it look like a circa 2008 Facebook photo. Nailed it.

English

@jsappington Another reason why short codes really should be the standard, and why RCS/RBM will eliminate this issue altogether when we move towards sender ID's instead of numbers.
English

Klaviyo just launched the dumbest feature ever that will save you tens of thousands of dollars.
What is it? It's call forwarding. It's literally just call forwarding.
Why does this matter? SMS laws are full of gray areas that ambulance chasers in certain states use to target ecom brands for litigation.
These attorneys target brands who are big enough to pay the bill to settle but not so big that they're willing to fight it in court.
Because TFNs aren't designed for high-volume messaging, brands using them typically have smaller subscriber lists - which often means limited legal resources.
In short, this straightforward feature eliminates a compliance vulnerability that previously exposed brands to costly litigation risks. I hate that this is necessary, but this is ecom in 2025.

English

@AndyTheGiant Honestly that song is a bop.
The cans look a little too similar to the spiked versions imo. And I really don't think anything will taste better than Olipop.
Poppi is 🤮
English

@AndyTheGiant @philwinkle A lot of it isn't brand new, but the Customer Hub and Service components are, as well as improvements to data/analytics.
This is a nice overview, but the webinar later today will reveal more about specific features I'm sure.

English

@AndyTheGiant @philwinkle Nah, this is pretty massive. The customer hub looks RAD.
Klaviyo has always ingested a lot of this data, but now they are making it more usable. I am really stoked about this!
English

@kdlafrance @kaleighf OMG CAN WE PUHLEASEEE
@kaleighf Colorado is pretty lovely but we could also roadtrip down to some hot springs in NM. I am SO GAME
English

@summerdonbell I really appreciate you breaking that down and will keep that in mind!
Do you think we'll see brands sending communications about this so shoppers are more informed and possibly incentivized to continue shopping at retailers?
Are margins similar between retail/DTC?
English

Sure, I’d love to clarify! Brands don’t “lose” shelf space, they will owe the retailer the profits of whatever isn’t sold, then they’re phased out which often leaves them bankrupt bc they cannot afford to pay the difference.
So, shopping directly doesn’t help their required sales , since they’re 2 separate $ streams. Retailer only cares about what goes on with them.
Those direct sales will just probably be used to cover what they owe the retailer aka 0 profit.
English

The brands cover their own theft, so no to this as well. 🤍
Ishmael@ishcontent
It’s okay to steal from Target now.
English

@summerdonbell It's not better for brands to make direct sales? Help me understand that.
I doubt we'll see much of a "boycott" of target in actuality, but if I see a brand and end up purchasing directly instead, is the risk just losing retail shelf space? Or being pulled altogether?
English

@SchroedsBiz I have probably spent an amount that I would be embarrassed to tally up lol
I loved this recap/theory roundup, and am really interested in Helena/Helly's storyline.
Also feel like that "water" droplet logo could actually be for blood...

English

@QueenDTC My wife and I spent 30 minutes reading theories online and any of them could be true. S2 has really impressed me so far
