Why does Katara still not have a statue in Republic City while literally everyone else from Team Avatar does? Aang? Celebrated. Sokka? Celebrated. Toph? Still alive Celebrated. Zuko? Still alive in Korra and already honored. But Katara the one who healed, fought, led, and carried half the team has nothing? Are they waiting for her to die first before giving her recognition or what’s going on here?

To be very honest… this could’ve happened to any Avatar. No one not Aang, Roku, Kyoshi, or even Wan knew the connection to the past lives could actually be destroyed. Korra was facing completely new threats in a new era with knowledge no Avatar before her ever had. She didn’t ruin the Avatar Cycle. She was simply the first Avatar forced to face something nobody even knew was possible. And it's funny you guys can't remember some of the sh!ts Aang did too. like: 💫Stopping the avatar cycle for 100 years but got it saved by Katara 💫Dying in the avatar state when Azula struck him with lightning 💫Once again dying in the Avatar state in the new movie because of Tagah, but was brought back by Katara AGAIN
