@MaddMinotaur In some cases knowing a person's bday and legal name is actually enough to find out their address (if you're registered to vote). I would be touchy about it myself for the same reasons she answered earlier without this knowledge. Age discrimination is a real thing.

Since when did ages become some top secret info? I feel like a birthday is actually more personal than how old I am. I guess knowing the exact MM/DD/YYYY is kinda touchy but I wouldn't put it on the same tier as an address or a debit card number.

I don't pray but I'm hoping my chronic pain keeps itself under control during this season as my bday approaches. Anyone else who also has the same problem, I wish for your chronic pain to behave so you can have a lovely, and cozy winter with minimal pain.

Mind you, if I were to have a pregnancy again, I would have to abort. No pregnancy would be safe for me due to many health problems on top of my potential child having a high risk of having my neurodegenerative disease. I feel for this woman deeply.

@ProfLCB All 4 of my miscarriages probably either ended up in my sewage system or on my underwear that probably got thrown out. This is cruel. This is inhumane. I hope everyone responsible for putting this woman through this is educated and retracts their decisions.

@heymrsbond Btw church of Christ fam who's fam reunion is always thanksgiving. Add that I came out that summer and was treated like shit compared to my aunt, uncle and cousins by my grandparents. Got ignored and passive aggressive gifts (bday is in Dec) so holidays are hard.

@heymrsbond Holidays since I was 14 have been hard for me (specifically Christian oriented ones and thanksgiving) and seeing the excitement on my teacher's faces with their newly decorated rooms made me hesitant to say anything. I'm glad you decided to do a poll and listen. It makes a diff.

@markeology We get houseplants and sometimes go to our local small plant shop and walk around looking at the different plants for fun. Also sitting outside on my porch to read or knit helps too.
