My wife, daughter, and I stayed at an @Airbnb in NYC in November. Perfectly normal stay. Nothing happened. When we left, the owner said there was a small stain on the hardwood floor he couldn't clean and said it took him $7500 to fix, including literally replacing floorboards. We know nothing about this, saw nothing, looks totally unfamiliar. Feels like insurance fraud, or something? AirBNB took his side because we couldn't provide a picture of the floor at the exact minute we walked out the door. Are you kidding me? Has anyone else had an experience with AirBNB like this? Any attorneys who know how to deal with this sort of absurd claim?

There is no length I won't go to defend this, @bchesky —and will take this further than the specific claim, to make sure everyone knows what they're dealing with when they check-in to an AirBNB. $7500 is about to feel like small change. Not worth it. This is fraud at the highest level.

@TobySez @iAm_MiseryBiz @AP Long story short: 2 yr old same here high risk they claim she had covid took 24-48 hr culture that shows all signs of viruses and bacteria. Nothing grew in her cultures. It was when the cultures showed no signs of covid for me but that's what they said she had 🤨

And a lot of people have been experiencing them and people are now about to just volunteer their babies 🤦🏽‍♀️.
