He’s stable in the PICU on high flow oxygen. They are working to find out what’s going on. I know the level of care on this floor is exceptional so he is in the right place.

He’s got another bowel obstruction. Will have a CT scan done soon which will determine if he needs surgery.

ok people weren’t kidding about how good herman miller chairs are. i think it saved my recovery bc this is the only chair i can tolerate sitting in since surgery. the price is very unfortunate but damn.

@PatsKam Can you ask if there’s an extended release option that might be easier on your stomach?

I am so tired of my iron making me nauseous. I have tried everything. Food doesn’t help either. 😭 I don’t want to take it, but I’m super anemic and don’t want iron blood transfusions.

Every March 26th we celebrate “Mattman Day”. The day I flew from Seoul, South Korea to my new parents! I was 4 months old and so lucky to have been adopted into such a loving, safe family. Forever grateful to them for such a great life. Happy Mattman Day everyone!! 🫶🏽

@RoseASMRR Grief is the price loved ones pay who are left behind when someone they love leaves. The most random word, name, sound, smell or touch can trigger it. My mom will have been gone 4 years this July and I struggle with guilt for living my life and not dwelling on her passing more 😢

@RoseASMRR Distance and physical separation cannot remove the love you have for him and his love for you. He was proud of you for living your life and being present for yourself. When my mom was battling cancer, she didn’t want to burden me with caring for her and holding back my life.
