With all due respect, no federal agency—not even the CIA—gets to tell the Senate what questions it may ask in a duly convened legislative hearing.
The CIA is facing serious accusations, and telling the Senate it can’t look into these issues only heightens legitimate suspicions.
@CIADirector needs to appear before the Senate immediately to respond in public to these and other serious accusations about the agency he’s leading.

The Committee acted in bad faith by subpoenaing an Agency officer for testimony today without notifying CIA, despite having already obtained closed-door testimony from the individual previously. The witness testifying today is not appearing as a whistleblower in pursuit of the truth, but instead in response to the subpoena issued by Chairman Paul. This proceeding amounts to nothing more than dishonest political theater masquerading as a congressional hearing. As the CIA has already assessed, COVID-19 most likely originated from a lab leak, and efforts to undermine that conclusion are disingenuous.

Gorgeous state, friendly people, incredible 2A, important swing state, etc.

He’s out there bragging that he “closed a $12 BILLION budget deficit” through genius progressive magic — taxing the rich, cutting waste, and “protecting services.”
Reality? Governor Kathy Hochul just forked over another $4 BILLION of New York State taxpayer money to bail out Mamdani’s failing NYC budget.
That’s on top of billions more in earlier state aid.
He didn’t “close the deficit.”
He got rescued by Albany.
Mamdani inherited a mess and made it worse with his policies. Now he’s taking credit for a bailout while Upstate and suburban New Yorkers foot the bill for his socialist experiments in the city.

Last week, two grizzly bear attacks claimed the life of a hiker in Glacier National Park and seriously injured two others in Yellowstone National Park. These tragedies are a sobering reminder that grizzly bear populations have recovered well beyond sustainable levels, and it is past time for the federal government to delist them and give states the management tools they need to protect both people and wildlife. Delist the grizzly.

House Republicans just ripped $650,000 away from the Copper Queen Library in Bisbee — money meant for basic repairs — because the library hosted two drag shows.
