The 2nd group continued work on our display for the All Saints' Church Clayton-le-Moors Harvest Flower Festival, titled "Use it Don't Abuse it." The Festival will be running from the 11th -13th October and we can't wait to see our pupils' hard work on display! [3]

This video will be shown as part of our visit to Westminster in November, where a contingent of our Eco Group will meet the Environment and Education Secretaries and other MPs to talk about the work of @Solar4_Schools. [2]

At last Thursday's Eco Group, our members split into 2 groups in order to take part in two very important activities. 1 group filmed a video about our school solar panels and the brilliant charity @Solar4_Schools who helped us to obtain them. [1]

We'd like to congratulate Mrs Lane on being awarded the @teachingperson 'Teaching Assistant of the Year'. This is a thoroughly well-deserved award for a member of staff who is both respected by colleagues and pupils alike! 🤩👏

Last Friday was the first of a 3-week course run through our Friday afternoon judo club called 'finding your feet.' This is a national initiative from the @BritishJudo Association designed to help older adults to fall safely. #FindingYourFeet #embracejudo

We are really looking forward to taking part in the challenge which continues with the Sprint Workshop on Wednesday 6th November! [3]

Thanks to Martin from @EcoVidaRoutes who joined us to launch the Young Green Briton Challenge last Friday morning with our Year 7 pupils. We discussed conscious consumer choices and the themes the challenge influences the pupils to consider. [1]
