Does he hit it hard? Sure. Is he rarely making contact? Yup and that’s the issue

@BMiggy Are we going to ignore expected number and advanced statistics. ISO, xSLG , LAV, xBA and xWOAB are all good. Not to mention he hasn't struck out much and has been putting the ball in play and hitting it hard.

You have to basically put everything in the middle of the zone bc anything anywhere near the edge is being called a ball for some reason. Even then I’ve had 2 cases of a pitch down the middle being a “ball”

Pitchers didn’t just start throwing harder bc they wanted to, it’s bc it’s easier to find success. Helsley 4-seam just sucks

Helsley the hardest throwing pitcher the mets had on the staff in 2025 was getting killd every time he entered the game. Over 7 ERA as a met. Like I said Velo is not everything buddy😂

Contact ones can add up to like 15 points to contact attributes, Power mod same for power, etcI think u can also mix some? Not sure there
