Has anyone tested the new cheaper MacBook Neo? I know its 8gb ram but also this could be a pretty good “chill on the couch/travel” laptop or for like Hearthstone and super basic editing, IDK what do u guys think?

@Average_Jonas Macbooks have always been my goto travel laptop since the battery life + performance + thermal management just blows every windows laptop i've used out of the water. Only downside is that gaming is very limited, but im willing to sacrifice that when on the go haha

My mother fell and hit her head; they found she had bleeding on the brain. She is now effectively brain dead with no hope of recovery.
Surgery could save her life, but would be saving a vegetable. My mother has basically passed away and I'm having a hard time right now.

@Pikaclicks My issue isn't sharing my ID to verify im the age I say I am, imo it's the data leaks that happen because these companies dont actually delete the personal information after its been verified, like the discord leak where people sent their IDs to verify age

Realistically, they probably have all our data anyway, but I'd still feel uneasy intentionally sharing it with Microsoft or any other similar corporation. Might just be my distrust in capitalism clouding my judgment though, online child safety is obviously a major concern here

I'm curious how people feel about this actually. I think more government restriction on online browsing for minors is good, but on the other hand, I think it's also unsafe to require minors to share their personal data with a mega conglomerate. Sets a bad precedent, no?
