To the brave men and women of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, we salute you. You are the very exemplar of gallantry in the world and remind us that freedom is not free ... and that those who enjoy it are indebted to those who paid the price to obtain it. Slava Ukraini! Heroyam Slava! Home of the Brave

There is growing evidence that the Russians continue to provide the Iranian regime with intelligence support. This is clearly destructive activity, and it must be stopped, as it only leads to further destabilization. All decent states are interested in guaranteeing security and preventing a larger crisis. Markets are already reacting negatively, and this is significantly complicating the fuel situation in many countries. By helping the Iranian regime stay afloat and strike more accurately, Russia is effectively prolonging the war. There must be a response.

UNREAL. Washington State police just arrested a man with 97 PRIOR ARRESTS after he led them on a high-speed chase. The criminal is described as a four-time convicted felon with 27 misdemeanor convictions. He is now being charged with DUI, eluding, and possession of narcotics. WHY WAS HE ALLOWED BACK ON THE STREETS?!

I agree with your take, and your facts to back it up. Definitely a society with ~20% or likely less with vested interest in the status quo or former status quo. They know who butters their bread and it will be difficult to dislodge them as they have the power and the guns. These groups tend to hold out longer than we anticipate but it’s pretty clear majority of the populous actively does not agree with them.

The Islamic regime is unlikely to accept Trump’s demands unless something dramatic changes. The Islamic regime is fighting what it frames as a messianic war. It is rooted in Twelver Shia doctrine, which holds that global chaos will precede a messianic era. It teaches that the “hidden Imam,” believed to have been born about 1157 years ago and still alive, will reveal himself after widespread disorder to restore order. Look it up.

USA wants three new military facilities in Greenland The United States is quietly negotiating with Denmark to gain access to three additional defense areas in Greenland—beyond Pituffik Space Base (formerly Thule Air Base) in northern Greenland. This was stated by General Gregory Guillot, commander of United States Northern Command, during a Senate hearing in Washington on Thursday, March 19. At the same time, the American top general described Denmark and Greenland as “highly cooperative,” saying that all U.S. requests are being accommodated and that everything can be handled within the existing 1951 defense agreement between Denmark and the United States. According to General Guillot, there are “three defense areas that we would like to negotiate with Denmark and Greenland about.” Possible locations Marc Jacobsen, a lecturer at the Royal Danish Defence College, said the general’s remarks indicate strong communication between senior military officials in Denmark and the U.S.: “That is positive for Denmark.” The Senate hearing did not specify which areas are being considered, but Jacobsen suggests three likely candidates: —Narsarsuaq in southern Greenland, which has a deep-water port —Kangerlussuaq in southwestern Greenland, capable of handling large aircraft —A deep-water port near Pituffik Space Base These locations are notable because they were among the first places where the U.S. established military bases in Greenland. The Saudis have granted the US the use King Fahd Air Base, in Taif, western Saudi Arabia, for offensive actions against Iran. This is a HUGE development. The airbase is outside the range of most Iranian missiles and drones and can be supplied from the Red Sea. I suspect there's a big difference between what's being said and done publicly and privately. I predict the Saudis' involvement will become more direct and publicly acknowledged in coming days. Ditto UAE.

You are 100% correct and the imbecile to whom you are responding is 100% imbecilic. Hitler loved Nietzsche's insights about human nature and morality: that humans were, metaphorically, either wolves or sheep (predators or prey) and that the moral codes by which they lived reflected the difference. Christianity, with its moral emphasis on non-aggression and forgiveness, was the moral code of sheep (prey). Nazism, Hitler believed, required the moral code of wolves (predators). Islam, in his opinion, was far more suitable as it unapologetically embraced both conquest and domination.

Here's the truth which the imbecile in the quoted post fails to tell... Hitler and the Nazis rejected anything and everything rooted in Judaism period and being as Judaism is foundational to Christianity (it is, no matter how much some want to believe it's not) he saw the Christian faith as deeply flawed. Yes, early on Hitler referenced Christianity and referred to Germany as a Christian nation. That was political strategy. In 1933, Germany was overwhelmingly Christian, so aligning himself rhetorically with it helped him gain and maintain support. However, the evidence for his very obvious disdain for the Christian faith is overwhelming. Most notably in Hitler's Table Talk, where he is recorded repeatedly criticising Christianity as weak, irrational, and incompatible with the kind of society he wanted to build. He viewed it as something that would eventually need to be pushed aside and replaced with a worldview more aligned with Nazi ideology. In fact, one religious ideology he did openly admire was.... Islam. Some quotes from Hitler specifically about the Islamic faith: “The Mohammedan religion too would have been much more compatible to us than Christianity… it would have been more suited to the Germanic temperament.” “Why did it have to be Christianity with its meekness and flabbiness? … Had Charles Martel not been victorious… then we should in all probability have been converted to Mohammedanism… the religion that believes in spreading the faith by the sword.” “The religion of Mohammed would have been much more suitable for us than Christianity… Why did it have to be Christianity with its meekness and flabbiness?” Both Catholic and Protestant clergy who opposed Nazi policies faced severe repression. Thousands of priests, pastors, and religious leaders were arrested and sent to concentration camps. Many perished there, often executed. Some even offered their lives in place of women and children, whether Christian or Jewish. The Nazis sometimes complied with these requests. Not exactly very Christian of them, is it? To murder Christian leaders, and never mind the fact that slaughtering any innocent people, regardless of religion, does not exactly align with Christian teachings or basic morality. If you are not well informed about this subject, take the time to educate yourself properly. Avoid consuming garbage like the post in the screenshot below. It's an unhealthy way to warp one’s perception of reality.

I'm a life-long Republican (the Reagan kind) and a quick scroll through my timeline will unearth a palpable loathing of the Far Left. 😹 That said, I despise all extremist ideologues, Left or Right. As I've long opined, it's not enough to hate Hitler or Stalin, you have to hate them both. The Far Left is cyanide. The Far Right (UltraMAGA) is botulism.
