@MaggieEThornton I think part of it is being from Southwest Virginia - in no way would we feel like "older moms" if we'd been raised in NYC, for example. When your high school classmates' children are graduating from high school and yours is graduating from kindergarten, you feel different.

@MaggieEThornton YES! This past wknd, I watched a play w/ cast and crew of HSers who were @GereauNewTech Ss & the technical director (now 9th grade English teacher!) was my former Eng8 student. Then on Sunday one of my former Eng8 students was recognized at church for earning her doctorate!
