I try not to make political posts. I really do. But I'm watching the @HillaryClinton testimony right now, and it's one of those moments where something just hits you in a way you can't scroll past. Watching her answer questions, make her points with precision and composure, command the room with the kind of quiet competence that used to be the baseline for public service... it's a painful reminder. This country had a chance to choose a fundamentally different path, and we didn't take it. You don't have to agree with every policy position she ever held. That's not the point. The point is that we were offered serious, prepared, deeply knowledgeable leadership, and we said no thanks. That's the American tragedy. Not a partisan one. A civic one. Okay.
