@CBXweb I get what you're saying but the difference is, Snow grew up around Jamaicans and other black people of that sort in Allenbury Gardens, North York in the 80s. Whereas Drake grew up in Forest Hill for most of his life, which is a very White/Non-black area of Toronto.

@kalakutasoja @C_S__ Disagree. He was around 18 in that clip, it's not like he was 14/15. He was closer to being a grown ass man than a "fresh teenager". And in that clip, one of the white girls literally called the slang "interesting" before Drake called it ignorant. No one made him "code switch".

That video of Drake talking to the white girl about Toronto slang & calling it “ignorant” is pretty much Kendrick’s entire point about Drake’s psyche. It’s not about being biracial making him “less” black. It’s about him turning his nose up to culture when it doesn’t benefit him
