@Destiny2Team Bungie, who, instead of trying to balance, prefers to reduce build crafting as usual. This studio is truly hopeless.

Re: Prismatic Subclass Tuning - Fragments During our hands-on preview for Destiny 2: The Edge of Fate, we shared an early look at Prismatic tuning planned for Destiny 2 Update 9.0.0. This tuning pass reduced the number of Fragments that could be placed on various Aspects, as we've found the Prismatic subclasses have been a bit hot since release. Certain Prismatic builds have increased damage output and survivability to a point where some challenges can feel trivial, and bringing everything else up to Prismatic's level wouldn't help to solve this issue in a healthy manner. We see this conversation about "power creep" frequently, which is why we take time to tune things up or down during release timelines; this gives us an opportunity to reign in outliers when new content is coming online. While we're still planning an overall tuning pass for Prismatic for a future date, featuring buffs alongside other changes, we'll be changing our approach for The Edge of Fate a bit in response to your feedback. Aspects that were originally planned to be reduced to 1 fragment slot will remain at 2. We feel this is a good middle ground where some of the more potent Aspects are being tuned down, but not too much. Of course, we'll be playtesting this change internally before The Edge of Fate launch as well to make sure it's the right decision. Here's the list of Aspects per class and planned changes to Fragment slots: Titan - Consecration 3 -> 2 (reverted from 1) - Knockout remains at 2 (reverted from 1) Hunter - Stylish Executioner remains at 2 (reverted from 1) - Ascension 3 -> 2 - Winter’s Shroud 3 -> 2 Warlock - Feed the Void remains at 2 (reverted from 1) - Hellion 3-> 2 - Bleak Watcher 3 -> 2 With many changes coming to our stat system, gear tiering, and armor 3.0, we still see Prismatic as an incredible option for the ad-clearing or boss-DPS focused players among you. We're looking forward to seeing how you experiment with Prismatic and alternate subclasses at launch. As always, we'll be watching your feedback once the changes go live.

@RedYoungTYR @Qxielas @Destiny2Team 65 stat armour is Tier 4, which is currently the highest you can get before masterworking and mods (which don't count towards tier stats afaik)

@ProSportsGuru93 @Destiny2Team And in the end, I think we'll come back to the same point after the hype has passed. So why do it? Bungie has always done things halfway...

@Qxielas @Destiny2Team Not really. Been here since d1 as well and I haven’t touched armor in years. It all gets deleted. It’s a refresh and I’m happy about it. The game and armor is stale and I think this is a fun change. Why continue to do the same thing over and over for shit armor?

@Intrigued_Guest @Destiny2Team Artificial? Don't worry, it'll remain artificial, but with just "bonuses" that no one will use because they'll be specific to certain activities. And the chests are full. You have to see the reality of the hidden sunset...

@Destiny2Team Even if the original intention is good in some respects, why should we have to endure this again? And the power, which serves no purpose, still hasn't been removed... It's very annoying.

@Destiny2Team I lasted until rank 20, then finished the rest with €4.99 for 500 coins. I got really fed up at one point. The two vehicles were very unbalanced. Where's the robot's mid-air suspension and mid-air dodge?

Heavy Metal is available through this Friday (May 16). Have you earned your Gryphon Combat Sparrow yet? While we've been sharing some clips from PvE activities, don't forget Sparrow Control (or as we've started calling it... Gryphon Control), which returns to the Crucible on May 27 at reset.

@Destiny2Team You've lost me for this year. The asking price, for less content, is too high. €99 for the Ultimate Annual Pass (the only option for the exotic) is too expensive. Even the Standard Edition is too expensive. I'll buy a key on the gray market if I'm convinced.

Love ViDocs, but that wouldn’t necessarily solve the issue you’re highlighting. We’d be talking for 4 hours! We have a LOT to dive through between now and launch. It’s good to see so many questions and so much interest. What’s this? What’s that!? We’ll get you all up to speed before July, with even more to discover post-launch.

What the hell is happening with power? Why are we spending 5 seconds on new armor stats? How rare are tier 5 weapons? EXPLAIN STUFF PLEASE

@BungieHelp Or. You could have had a Blight Key where you could choose which path to go. What's keeping me from full Expert Nether runs is I rather not deal with the Taken servitor or the Tormentor boss. Its easier to reset than it is to win 3 3/5 chances in a row

Tomorrow, Update 8.2.5.4 will go live. We are shipping a fix to allow initial spawns into all areas of the Nether, including the Founts and Hull Breach. Once the fix has been confirmed live in-game, we will send out update comms.

@DestinyTheGame The artifact should have been made invalid in the event activities to balance things out... I said from the very beginning that the Titans would win.

Our teams embraced the darkness when creating Stasis inspired armor ornaments for the Eververse. Hunter cloaks are fitted with Silence and Squall, Titans are stowing a Diamond Lance on their back, and Warlocks are keeping their Winter's Wrath Staff close at hand. It's always a fun time exploring what a Stasis Guardian could look like, and we hope these looks fit the theme! Snag 'em for 1500 Silver if you wish. They'll also be available for Bright Dust at a later date. Mix and match with shaders or other sets and show us your fashion!

@Destiny2Team This has been a completely erroneous result for several years... The choice to play a particular class is influenced by the artifact and the current gameplay. The Titans will win this year.

Hunter Vanguard Crow is VERY disappointed with the fireteam of Hunters that forwarded a 100% incorrect message through VanNet today. Guardian Games have no clear winner on the horizon!
