Alaska Dept of Fish and Game is aerially shooting pregnant, or lactating bears with cubs across 40,000 square miles for years — until 2028 — with no population data and the number of bears (and wolves) killed is completely unlimited. Shooting from helicopters can wound, or kill only the mother, leaving cubs to starve. The stated aim is to kill 80% of black bears, 80% of wolves and 60% of brown bears.
