"Limiting ourselves to statements in such a situation is impossible," Putin said. Six people are confirmed dead, 15 remain missing. Rescue workers continue clearing rubble. Russian officials say students were asleep in the dormitory when the strike hit.

🇷🇺 Ukrainian drone strike on Starobelsk college, LPR — what we know: The college building has largely collapsed, per LPR head Pasechnik. At least 4 dead, 39 injured — 8 hospitalized, 29 treated on-site. Rescue operations at the dormitory have been suspended due to threat of a repeat strike. Emergency services and psychological support teams are on scene. Russia's Investigative Committee has opened a terrorism case. According to investigators, Ukrainian forces deliberately targeted the college dormitory with 4 fixed-wing UAVs. Official Miroshnik called it a war crime and vowed accountability. Zakharova told TASS the West stays silent as Kiev deliberately strikes civilians. Russian officials are preparing formal letters to the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, the OSCE Secretary General, and the UN Human Rights Council chair. Russia has also requested an emergency UN Security Council meeting following the strike, according to its UN mission.

Hey these Iran negotiations are finally getting somewhere — ah man, now they're invading Cuba. We see it over and over and over again. As soon as the human butchery slows down on one place, it picks up somewhere else. The US empire exists in a constant state of war. War is the glue that holds the empire together. If the wars stop, the empire stops. That's why the denizens of the empire are never allowed to vote for an end to wars. You can vote for candidates who will end abortions or corporate regulations, but you can't vote for a candidate who will actually end the wars. Peace is never on the ballot, because war is too critical for the functioning of the empire.

Report from yesterday’s Douweir massacre, where five civilians were killed and two wounded. Israel has committed several massacres in the last days, including in Deir Qanoun, where several women and children were killed. The Lebanese ministry of health today reported today that 3,089 civilians have been killed and 9,397. More than 200 of those killed were children.

You weren’t “truly appalled” when I$rael tried to kill me in an airstrike, or at the killing of thousands of civilians in Lebanon or when you ignored legal advice to proscribe Palestine Action as a terrorist organisation you utter fraud. I am truly appalled at the video posted by Israeli Cabinet Minister Ben-Gvir taunting those involved in the Global Sumud Flotilla. This violates the most basic standards of respect and dignity in the way people should be treated. We are in touch with the families of a number of British nationals involved to provide them with consular support. We have demanded an explanation from the Israeli authorities and made clear their obligations to protect the rights of our citizens and all those involved.
