@WallStreetApes Maybe stop spraying chemicals in the air trying to control the weather. Maybe start looking at the big corp companies upstream that dispose of waste in ways that cost the least and hurt the most. We all know it's not the every day citizen causing the harm.
English

A new US Geological Survey Study reveals forever chemicals are making their way into some of the most remote wildlife in America
15 black bears and 9 grizzly bears were tested for forever chemicals, every single bear tested was positive. Forever chemicals were detected in 100% of the samples
High levels in bears suggest widespread exposure across the food web
This is a very big deal because
PFAS, forever chenille, are linked to immune system effects, reproductive issues, developmental problems, liver and kidney damage and cancer risks
In bears, this could potential effect their reproduction, immunity and hormone disruption
Ecological breakdown could happen if certain species all the sudden can no longer reproduce
We have to do something about the forever chemicals issue, it’s already out of control

You're making shit up, the re-usability is what drives the cost down.
Here's the actual fact that you seem to be missing.
Key Comparisons (2026 data, approximate to LEO)
SpaceX Falcon 9 (rideshare / Transporter): ~$7,000/kg (or as low as ~$350k for a 50 kg slot + $7k/kg extra). Dedicated launches: ~$74 million (~$2,700–$3,000/kg for full payload).
SpaceX Falcon 9 (dedicated): Lowest per-kg cost for medium-to-large payloads among operational vehicles. Highly reusable and high-cadence.
ISRO SSLV (India): Dedicated small launcher at ~$3–4 million per launch (~$7,000–$8,000/kg for ~500 kg). Very competitive for dedicated small-sat missions.
Rocket Lab Electron: ~$7.5 million dedicated (~$25,000/kg for ~300 kg). Offers schedule/orbit flexibility but much higher per-kg cost.
Firefly Alpha: ~$15 million dedicated (~$15k–$24k/kg for ~600–1,000 kg). Mid-tier for small/medium.
Roscosmos (primarily via Soyuz-2) is competitive on price for certain missions but generally more expensive than SpaceX on a per-kg basis, especially for commercial or Western customers.
Roscosmos strengths: Historically low labor/material costs in Russia make Soyuz relatively affordable for dedicated medium payloads. It's reliable for crew/cargo to ISS and has a long track record. Some reports show specific missions around $17–25M (without full payload).
Weaknesses vs. SpaceX: Lower payload capacity means higher effective per-kg costs for many missions. Geopolitical issues (sanctions, export controls) make it harder/expensive for non-Russian/Western customers. Fewer commercial rideshare options and lower launch cadence compared to Falcon 9.
Overall: SpaceX wins for most commercial users due to reusability, higher capacity, frequent flights, and rideshare programs. Soyuz remains viable for specific government or Russian-aligned missions where raw price or heritage matters.
Do your research.

@R00sterN @MarhinDeMosr @niccruzpatane @SpaceX Companies don't care about re-usability, even if they can only be used 2 or 3 times, if cheaper and reliable it's a no-brainer. Don't forget that spaceX is just marginally cheaper than Russia's ROSCOSMOS as of today
English

How @SpaceX landed their booster at sea for the first time vs. how China landed theirs for the first time.
There’s a 10-year difference between these two landings.
English

@CapOveur @MarhinDeMosr @niccruzpatane @SpaceX I have a hard time believing that. However, competition is good, but lets wait to see how consistent they are with catch and re-usability.
English

@MarhinDeMosr @R00sterN @niccruzpatane @SpaceX * and if cheaper, which most likely will be, a lot of companies will use CATL over SpaceX. Maybe not american ones, but a lot of other companies will choose them

So yall agree with Diversity Equity and Inclusion?
Anyone who agrees with this decisions agrees with DEI. Bc all you anti DEI clowns should disagree and feel that the gay boys should be able to hire whom ever they want, bc that’s what yall said “white ppl should be able to hire whom ever they want”
But don’t change your stance bc it’s a gay person…. So remember this is a win for equity and inclusion

BREAKING 🚨: The Supreme Court sided unanimously with a straight white woman in Ohio who filed a “reverse discrimination” lawsuit after her g*y boss refused to promote her and instead promoted her g*y colleagues.
CNN’s Paula Reid: “This is a unanimous opinion that will make it easier to file so-called reverse discrimination claims in the U.S.”

@mattvanswol Really?
Heart attaches happen often, and suddenly.
One could be looking perfectly healthy and five minutes later they're getting chest compressions while lying there lifeless. What doesn't make sense is the tinfoil hat pushing stupidity.

I don't want to black pill everyone, but I'm 90% sure China is going to beat America back to the moon.

The return of Long March 10 booster, view from the ship
English

@Jamesjonesik8 Good, stay home, we don't need you here sucking up our taxes like the leaches you are.
English

This isn't really much different, just a different approach to how landing is accomplished. If you really use critical thinking you'll understand that the the Falcon 9 is superior in weight and payload capability. This is not a huge technological advancement. The Long March-10B is heavier with less payload capability, meaning it costs more to use.

@KhamisiFox @its_The_Dr Of course, it never fails that some dumb ass race bating queef has to make something into a race issue. Get bent retard.
English

@its_The_Dr Everybody can see it and justify it when it's a white woman. But when that black woman was being attacked by that white man in the parking lot and blasted in self-defense racist white eyes can't seem to See it.
English

@OliLondonTV The only people profoundly uncomfortable with themselves are people like her. Just because they can't stand themselves doesn't mean I should be forced to put up with their stupidity.

I woke up to the upsetting and worrying news - In Northern Ireland, they burned a model of a mosque with a sign stating "Secure our borders and end Islam." The police failed to stop it.
This is deeply offensive, Islamophobic, and frightening to Muslims living in Northern Ireland.
We are constantly under attack in the UK and nothing is being done. Andy Burnham - we need solutions.

To all the idiots out there upset about the Supreme Court upholding the law and sending Haitians and Syrian illegals back home… listen up.
And the fake news, stop lying!
The vast majority of Haitian illegals that came across were actually from Chile and Brazil. They had spent years there and only came because of the open borders left who invited them. If you want to be upset at anyone for illegals being deported, be upset at the Democrats and the NGO’s who invited them in and profited off of the undermining of America.
