I would actually argue that those things are not natural. Alzheimer's didn't exist before about 1980 even under a different name. It mysteriously showed up the moment everyone removed cholesterol from their diets. Cancer rates pre 1950s and post 1950s are different worlds. You're talking a couple percent affected vs today's ~30%. And no, it is not all a result of better diagnosis. Sure, some is. Don't get me started on heart disease.

Natural doesn’t mean good. Heart disease, Alzheimer’s, cancer - all natural
AlphaHealth@AlphaXHealth

@YourDocGoku why are we trying to prevent aging? It's natural. Humans don't live as long as they should (120) because of poor diet, environmental toxins etc. Maybe spending money on addressing those would be more beneficial?

I've never had an issue with Delta wifi, actually; although some planes don't have it at all. That is becoming fewer and fewer links though. But I don't watch TV/YouTube; I'm usually working or doing research. So maybe it just doesn't bother me. As far as timing goes, Delta has had the "on time" record for .....years. Doesn't mean United sucks, just means if I book 100 Delta flights and 100 United flights, a higher percentage of the Delta flights will be on time. I don't think that is really disputed anywhere. I typically fly Delta, but I do fly Alaska, American, and United once in a while depending on the route, arrival times ect... And I can tell you, whenever I see a route that requires me to fly American, my butthole tightens up a little bit. Not because of wifi, but because the chances of the trip going without a hitch are small. If there is a layover, you'd better have other plans. I'll fly to a different airport and put an extra couple hundred miles on a rental car to avoid American, if possible. United has generally been ok, although last year they did leave me stranded at JFK with an open ended timeframe because they arrived 2 hours late and I missed a layover flight. Before they had it resolved, I hit a Delta flight on standby to get home. Clowns.

Switched from United to Delta for this year - haven't noticed a meaningful improvement in on time performance and I'm flying multiple times per week right now. Have been frustrated enough with Delta Sync wifi already being unusable enough that I can't get any work done on the plane several times that it may actually impact my decision for 2027.

Delta does one thing better than everyone else .....leave and arrive on time. For anyone who *actually* flys frequently, this is the only metric that matters. Sure, Starlink would be great. I've had it on my home for years ...it's fantastic. But if you think I'm picking airlines over what kind of Internet access they provide, we are at different levels of serious.

@SawyerMerritt If this leaves Delta as the only one of the big three US carriers with bad WiFi, it would be a disaster for them. Hoping this is enough to convince them to switch as well, but not overly optimistic unfortunately.

Did you read the article? It actually didn't say "CO2 does not affect temperature". The headline is a bit misleading. Instead, the article points to ice core data showing the earth slipping into and out of ice ages all while co2 remained stable. So certainly, CO2 *can* influence temperature via greenhouse effect. The physics is clear. But, the data shows the earth is also capable of massive climate swings without CO2 as a variable of action. This is actually not new information, and does posit some conflicting data to current global warming narrative. That is a good thing. That's how we learn. Science is not religion. Learning and being open to changing our minds is an important part of the process. In fact, the most important part.

Exposing, sure. But nothing is drained until there have been some arrests, prison sentences, ect. There seems to be some good intentions around in the current political sphere, or at least some lip service to that degree. But I've got a feeling nothing is actually changing until the people grab their pitchforks.

The minivan era is over. Elon just confirmed Tesla is working on something cooler than a minivan. Many are hoping it's a Cyber SUV built on the Cybertruck platform. Same durability. Same tech. Same futuristic design. This would be the next evolution of what an SUV should be. Who's ready to order theirs?

@drmikehart Clots are a complex mix of stuff. Lipids and other arterial trash bound together, with fibrin and other binders. If you dissolve or weaken the fibrin, can a clot come apart or shed? Absolutely.

Nattokinase doesn't "dissolve clots." But it may reduce the total plaque volume. It does this by shrinking microthrombi and fibrin deposits. But it doesn't dissolve the lipid core (at least not on its own). I say this as a big Nattokinase user and fan.
Humanspective@Humanspective

Dr. Ben Bikman says the evidence is "pretty solid” for Nattokinase, from the Japanese staple natto. The research is showing it might do much more than “just dissolving clots”. A published study following “a little over 1000 patients” with “confirmed carotid artery plaques” found “a significant reduction in plaque size”

The western U.S. has been dealing with record March heat, and it may end up as the warmest March on record there. But perhaps equally as impressive is the cold pool stretching from Hudson Bay to Alaska. Parts of Yukon and Alaska may record one of their coldest Marches on record. But you won't hear anything about that.

There are electric fields, and there are magnetic fields, and they can exist completely independently. When modulated together, then you get RF. I'm not sure what the OP is claiming, because AFAIK this has been known for a very long time. You can even see this effect using a simple EMF meter like a Trifield. If I find a wire with a high AC voltage but no current flow, it will have a high AC electric field and no magnetic. Once current starts moving, then it will also produce a magnetic field. RF is both, always:

Dr. Paul Wilhelm | Advanced Rediscovery
⚡ Your textbook says a changing magnetic field "produces" an electric field. Jefimenko proved this is wrong (2004). Both E and B are independently caused by charges and currents. Their time derivatives satisfy coupled equations, but the causal chain runs from sources to fields. Not from field to field. E does not cause B. B does not cause E. The standard narrative of electromagnetic induction is pedagogically convenient and physically incorrect. If the fields aren't even causally primary with respect to each other, elevating them above the potentials from which they derive is doubly unjustified. Section 3.1 of my paper "The Deleted Degrees of Freedom." Pinned on my profile.
