Just last weekend, my uncle in law was making fun of COVID and people who wear a mask in 2026 - but in the same breath subtly mentioned that he has NOT regained his sense of smell since getting COVID in 2021.

Im about 8 weeks into the semester, and I’ve had 2 students out with “walking pneumonia”, 10 students sick on/off, and one student who was so sick he was admitted to the hospital for “heart pain”. It’s April, this shit isn’t normal. Why aren’t people taking COVID seriously?
