Me choosing to fix a typo in my radiology template every single time I use it, rather than taking the 4 seconds it would take to fix the template itself, is a great way to sum up what is fundamentally wrong with me as a person.

#ASNR23 Topic: Sinonasal Tumors Staging: Differs between maxillary sinus & nasal cavity/ethmoid sinus tumors Bottom line: for staging & resection - identifying tumor extension is key for treatment. Nice work UWisc Radres Alex Moeller! 🌟great collab w/ ENT @IanKoszewski

ER: Hi, you didn’t mention the pts left ear on your head CT report. He complains of “nodules” Me: the history i was given was “headache”…. So no I did not mention his normal ear skin ER: Well can you addend it? Me: Nope. If you want specific reports, give specific histories

HELP: Do you know where to get a fabric scientific poster printed? Is it financially worth it compared to paper for a scientific conference? Thanks in advance! #MedEd #posters #RadEd

Looking forward to this next season in sub-I rotations! Surgical skills, faculty lectures, resident mentored lunch, and a sub-I only cadaver lab for cranial/spine techniques are all components of a very med student focused rotation. Hope to see your app in VSLO! @UCSDNeuroSurg

#8: In-person sub-I rotations resumed! Visiting medical students trained at our state-of-the-art facilities and @CFS_UCSD—one of the largest surgical simulation facilities in the world. Recent sub-I’s are shown relaxing outside the CFS following a spine lab led by @MartinPhamMD.

@AlexStuckeyMd For me, it's always "sheesh, who wrote such a long report? Clearly she has too much time on her hands..." It's me, I have too much time on my hands ... ;)

Whenever I read a prior radiology report and think “wow, what idiot said that?”…. There’s about a 75% chance that I, myself, was that idiot. Just another fun example of this job instantly humbling me on a daily basis.

@PhilipRChapman1 Beautiful examples of an important compartmental pitfall (and a way to potentially lose all your friends in NSGY). Kudos to the external perspective-polka dot bikini sign will now be part of the UCSD lexicon!

Trying to create an illustration of the classic "inverted Mercedes Benz sign" of spinal subdural hematoma. My wife walked by & said it looked more like a "polka dot bikini" sign. Gotta hand it to her. Hematoma resolved in 4 weeks with conservative management and plt infusion.
