I believe many parents are getting development backwards. They are spending too much time/effort preparing the path for their child, instead of preparing their child for their path. I get it, no one wants to see their child fail, yet failure is necessary for meaningful growth.

Tonight the Sox start the Fateful 8 before the All-Star Break. The boys are 5 back and 3 down in the loss column. Hardly insurmountable with just under half a season to go. Judging by this Twitter feed some have given up. Happy summer to you. For the rest strap it down. Let’s Go
