This is an incredible story. The guy was never used. Never booked. WWE gets him, now he’s selling a ton of merch and is becoming a favorite wrestler for kids. All in the span of a couple months.

It’s astonishing how far and away superior night two was to night one. What a wide disparity. And it happens every year. I know they’ll never do it, for business reasons, but creatively this just screams out why Mania should be one streamlined night of just all the best stuff.

JUST IN: Joel Embiid hasn’t started serious basketball activities and is expected to miss the 76ers first round series against the Celtics. The 76ers have just a 8% chance to avoid becoming first round exits without their star center. Embiid is definitely one of the NBA’s biggest what-ifs. Without his unlucky injuries, he’d definitely have a championship with the Sixers and have completed the process. Really, really sad.

Anyone else notice how short the matches are tonight? 7 min 14 min 8 min 8 min 15 min 9 min That’s barely over an hour of wrestling on a 3+ hour show. The rest is ads and segments. That’s really odd for WrestleMania, even by WWE standards.
