Good players can stuff a stat sheet but GREAT ones elevate everyone else around them. Just exactly what @brookelyn_roach does every time she touches the floor(and has since I’ve watched her play in the 4th grade). A special player and a special young lady. Glad she’s on my team!

We talk all the time about how points are not the most important stat. We also talk about how college coaches want kids who can guard. This girl in 2 games today had only 6p but she had 9r, 10s, 9d and 5a and she absolutely controls every game with her D, her pace and her ball handling. And btw, she already holds a great offer to play at the next level bc of these attributes. This team is fantastic and we have all the pieces but this is the motor that makes us GO, this is our heartbeat! Today they asked me who my Players of the Game were…we went with @kylac334 and @AddisonBunn but this gal could legit be that player every game. Great weekend @brookelyn_roach, you’re a joy to watch play.

I’ve said it many times, no one works harder than this kid. It’s great to see all those unseen hours of work payoff for @BCaldwell_14. She’s going to make some college program very happy. Very proud of her and glad she’s on my team!

Senior spotlight @HayesAdison . She will go down as one of the greatest scores and 3 point shooters in Grainger history. Not only a great scorer on the hardwood but she joined the 29+ club at GHS for her ACT score. A great kid and teammate. I wish I was as tough as she is!
