It’s Sunday, which park are you heading to today?!

For the new Problematic Roller Coasters video on X at Six Flags Magic Mountain, I tried to better divide the video into chapters. The goal was to give pauses between the spouts of information and also make the video easier to watch in several viewing sessions! If you are traveling today or tomorrow, please arrive to the airport 4 hours early. We have not previously experienced checkpoint wait times similar to what we are seeing this morning. Travelers most impacted are those departing from Concourses A, B and C.

On this date in 1982, Grizzly made its debut at Kings Dominion, bringing with it a layout inspired by Cincinnati’s long-lost Wildcat at Coney Island. Tucked deep in the woods, the wooden coaster has long stood out for its secluded setting, but it’s at night when Grizzly feels especially unforgettable, with near-total darkness, rushing turns and the illusion of flying just inches from the trees. It remains one of my favorite night rides anywhere.
