@TheLibertyYell @BeeTEE15 I went there on an impromptu trip with a buddy in 2008 for Flyers-Habs East Semis Game 5. Winning and knocking them out was something I'll never forget. Atmosphere was still off the charts, I wanna get back there again

On this day in Philly sports history, May 25, 1997 The Philadelphia Flyers beat the New York Rangers 4-2 to win the 1997 Eastern Conference Final and advance to the Stanley Cup Final for the first time in 10 years. Rod Brind’Amour scored the go-ahead goal with just 54 seconds left in the first period before adding another in the third period to seal the win. It was one of four multi-goal playoff games Brind’Amour had with the Flyers, all of which came during the Flyers’ 1997 playoff run

On this day in sports history, May 25, 1965 Muhammad Ali knocked out Sonny Liston just 2:12 into Round 1 in one of the most controversial fights in boxing history. The rematch became famous for “The Phantom Punch” after Liston suddenly collapsed from a shot many believed never landed clean. After the knockout, Ali stood over Liston yelling, “Get up and fight, sucker!” The shot of the moment became one of the most iconic photos in sports history

Every year, I share this video of French caretakers who take sand from Omaha Beach in Normandy, and scrub them into the letters to give them the gold coloring. They do this for all 9,386 US soldiers who died. France also gave us this land as American soil. #MemorialDayWeekend

On Memorial Day, we pay tribute to the brave men and women in uniform who gave their lives for this country that we love. It is a debt we can never fully repay, but we must never stop trying. I’ll always be grateful to our fallen heroes and their families, whose sacrifice reminds us of what it means to live for something greater than ourselves.

Maybe everyone on this app can take that incredibly emotional opening ceremony and tribute to Kyle Busch and his grieving family to heart tonight while watching and listening to the running of this race

Skubal Cam Cole Fried playoff rotation would be insane. I get that the lineup has holes, trade cost would be high, he’s currently injured. But if there was ever a year to be a little reckless at the deadline, this is it. Aging Judge & Cole, lockout looming, weak AL. Do it
Fireside Yankees@FiresideYankees

Rival executives believe the bidding for Tarik Skubal at the deadline will come down to the Dodgers, Yankees, Padres, and Blue Jays. (Per @BNightengale)
