Based on the current population and number of hours worked in the UK per week, reduced the working week to 30 hours per week would lead to a shortfall in staffing. Based on the working population of the UK and the number of hours worked (Office for national statistics figures). Once again a Green candidate / leftie fails to do the maths before announcing a policy direction.

The Greens would make sure your right to earn a decent wage without going over 40 hours is protected. We should reduce the working week to 30 hour while increasing prices and stopping tax dodgers (like Farage) and ending vulture capitalism.
Zia Yusuf@ZiaYusufUK

🚨Important policy announcement: Britain was built on the hard graft of people who go the extra mile. A Reform government will ABOLISH income tax on hours worked beyond 40 hours a week, for incomes below £75,000 a year. It’s time to REWARD hard work, not punish it! 🇬🇧

@Heccles94 Let me remind you of YOUR post in 2024 when you said Nigel Farage is POPULIST - based on this post you obviously acknowledge he is prioritising the People over the Elite!!

@Heccles94 The majority of Brits want to feel safe when peeing or pooing. That includes being able to choose to use a facility that is limited to their biological sex. That is not bigotry it is how people feel.

@owenjonesjourno My wife and female friends all feel the same, they are being driven out of female toilets and changing rooms. Their fear is real, their concerns are real. Why should less than 1% be allowed to adversely impact around 50%?

If trans women use men’s toilets, they will be subjected to humiliation, abuse and violence. Anyone with any sense knows this. Which is why in practice trans women will not use men’s toilets, and will just increasingly be driven out of society.

There is absolutely no need for an MP to "take a Leave of Absence", MPs do not have contracts they get paid if they turn up. Or not. There are well documented processes for proxy voting.... If the MP feels they are unable to represent their constituents it is up to them to make the decision whether to leave or not - it is a test of that person's morality, their sense of duty to those that elected them, their conscience.

@Heccles94 Given you are a full time nurse, pretty sure you don't need the income for your "left wing account" to survive. If you are/were making a living from social posts, hope you are paying tax and including it in your Working Time Directive calculations. @HMRCgovuk

Has anyone else noticed X revenue being drastically cut? Is it for left wing accounts? One thing is cleared it’s hard for left wing accounts to survive on here. If you are able to please subscribe to my substack 🙏🙏 open.substack.com/pub/harryeccle…

@HarleyShah I wonder what sort of party would have one of it's few MPs ask weak question about something the population doesn't care about. The opportunity for Opposition Mps to ask questions is rare, what a waste.

When in opposition, during the COVID lockdown period, Starmer and Rayner were drinking at a constituency office -Sir Beer. What on earth makes this Green MP think he is going to agree MPs shouldn't be allowed a drink in the Commons Bars? Wasted question to the PM, when some Green policy challenges could be raised - or does this mean as we suspect there are few?

@Moe689364344269 Is this any different to Supermarket employees getting staff discount? Network Rail staff / families getting subsided transport? She is picking on an nationally inconsequential point, showing the total lack of Green Party policy.

I've seen posts saying that Hannah Spencer wasted her question on something petty. MPs drinking at a subsidised bar at work is completely revelant. It's about different rules for the elite. It's about people needing food banks while MPs get discounted alcohol. It's wrong.
Politics UK@PolitlcsUK

🚨 WATCH: Green MP Hannah Spencer asks Keir Starmer if he agrees that MPs "shouldn't be drinking on the job" Starmer: "The Greens think their leader walks on water. It turns out that he just lives on water and doesn't pay his council tax" #PMQs

Meanwhile, the Green Party advocate the legalisation of drugs that have a half-life of days as opposed to hours for alcohol - employees everywhere could be stoned while using dangerous equipment and driving. A lunchtime drink is considered a sin, pretty sure pubs and restaurants will become bankrupt if you ban drinking during the work day (moderate, a unit or two with food) - this is common throughout business. Greens protesting inconsequential matters rather than questioning Government failures, bringing forward improvements to people's lives.

I notice the hideous Sarah Pochin braying away in the background. Demonstrating once again that whilst the Greens offer a real alternative to “business as usual” politics, Reform are part of the same establishment piss-up club!

@bullseyeism2 @Heccles94 The point of the post was previous employment, highlighted by only raising the Green candidate employment. Saying that Green Party employment history (hypnotist, red cross spokesman, ministry of Justice employee.....) and tax paying (council tax.......).

@Heccles94 Wanting my wife and other women feel safe in certain spaces is showing love not hate. Not caring what women feel shows a complete lack of empathy. Strange, that those accusing people of hate, lack any empathy.
