This young lady works as a part-time barista at her local Starbucks, on this particular shift a customer walked in who appeared to have the weight of the world on her shoulders, without hesitation her and own personal strife aside she gave the customer a few kind words, unbeknownst to the barista the woman travels regularly for work and had been in town for a short period and found her new surroundings to be an unfriendly place, that brief encounter with the part-time employee inspired her to return to the coffee shop later that day and pass an envelope to the Starbucks manager containing a nice note and two $100 bills to pass on to the employee who had made her day. The next day when the young barista returned to work the manager had a nice little surprise for her, that fleeting pay it forward moment came back in spades, nearly a year earlier her mother had passed away and she couldn’t afford a cremation urn for her beloved mother that she misses dearly, now with the money she was rewarded for her kindness will see them reunited for Mother’s Day🕊️
