@anthonyghalkias 2 very different situations. Lamar was leaving the field and got initiated by a fan first. Was Lamar in the right? No. But DK voluntarily made his way to a place on the sideline he should never really be. And then initiated the confrontation. Very different situations.

After Steelers’ DK Metcalf gets hit with a 2 game suspension for his altercation with a lions fan. It’s interesting to note Ravens’ Lamar Jackson received no punishment from the NFL for this in Week 1

@McDonz71 @TheStandard412 2 very different scenarios. Lamar was not the physical aggressor, fan initiated contact, and it was a push. DK voluntarily went over to a spot that he had no business being and imitated confrontation, and used a closed fist. Should be a suspension

@sgellison The first play was a PA pass that Linderbaum got bullrushed and Lamar took a sack. Don’t hate the PA call after gashing them in the run game. After that, they’re behind the sticks and you have to go to the air. And then 3rd down Lamar had all day to throw and took a sack.

@mike_kr13 @MLFootball Yeah probably half the clips that go around of him “looking lost” is him doing his job. People just don’t understand that. Now he also gets beat bad at times too which goes around as well.

@mike_kr13 @MLFootball He’s actually doing his job. No one will believe that on this app but it’s true. He’s responsible for his inside gap on this play. No one comes, he gives body presence to backside and keeps eyes on frontside.

@Varsitycombine1 I know what analytics say…but why not take the guaranteed points? Dudes had trouble with grip on that slippery turf…what if your PK slipped and shanked the kick a’la OSU vs. UGA…or the snap was bad…or the kick gets blocked…if I was playing Madden, I’m getting the TD.

I'm sure he has dreamed of that moment since he was a child, and knows he may never get the opportunity again. Instead, with 1 min left, he chose to sacrifice that accomplishment to better the chances that all of his teammates get a ring. I will always be a fan. This is a picture that should be put up in every high school gym in the country.

@jeremyalandiaz @Varsitycombine1 By that logic you have no faith in the FG team. Whenever you can end the game on your terms and not allow the other team a chance to come back the better. Every team would do exactly what KC did, because it is the right football play.

@Varsitycombine1 The only thing this play shows is that they have zero confidence in the defense. This idea of “they left them too much time to score” is crazy if you trust your teammates to do their job. Score the TD and trust your teammates to stop them. Then you take a knee and win.

@JoeyJosh2021 That play while yeah was unnecessary, did not warrant a flag. We see shoving after the whistle without being flagged all the time. Was it right? No. Was it worthy of a flag? No. Both can be true at the same time. Bengals did after whistle stuff too. It happens every game.

@Matty_B_1101 @Wrightreportt But they’re not going to come to him with anything when he made it very clear he didn’t want to negotiate. And the optics aren’t bad. Roquan has shown to be the most vital part of the defense. So it’s a no brained locking him up long term.

@RChristas @Wrightreportt Again… I’m not disputing that. I said the optics were bad because they paid a guy who wasn’t even there when this started. Don’t blame Lamar for not negotiating. If they came to him with what he wants, he’d be locked up first. That’s the entire point.
