High school coaches are expected to be champions, recruiting consultants, film scouts, & relationship managers — on top of teaching 6 classes a day. For pennies on the dollar. Some good ones are walking away. That’s a problem nobody’s talking about.

Coaches, just a reminder, even though the one time transfer rule was passed in Tennessee, it is STILL illegal recruiting to contact players at other schools to come to your program. Some are going as far as meeting families for dinner. Integrity still matters!

@FollowTheRuless Agreed. My consistent advice is to use the system. Schools are using you to win. This is likely your last chance you have to play football. If you have multiple options, go to the place that best sets you up after football. We look at job placement rates, starting salaries. Etc

schools.

Do you believe that it is your responsibility to give advice and have an educated opinion on a college fit for your players or do you believe you’re supposed to remain an objective party in the process & largely stay out of it?

I think there’s a difference with in maximizing strength and lifting heavy enough. I’m becoming more and more disinterested in maxes and more interested in being strong enough 😂😂
