@Fuji720x I believe spurs lose v Chelsea and win vs Everton. And then West Ham draw to Newcastle and beat Leeds. Leaving West Ham relegated by 1 point

Liam Delap to Ireland? 👀
We’d planned on revisiting this topic soon but it’s now been said by Irish staff that they’ve not given up hope of Liam Delap donning an Irish jersey in the future! ☘️
People will have their own thoughts on this, but I’ve no issue with him coming on board if he wanted as he has very real Irish heritage (scroll to an interview with father Rory from 2014)
“And with his parents — John from Letterkenny and Maura from Kells — he had a special Christmas, marvelling at John’s capacity to persuade his boys — aged 10, six and four — to declare their allegiance to Ireland.
“They’ll listen to him quicker than they will me,” laughed Delap. “But you hope the importance of being Irish resonates with them. It meant everything to me growing up. We’ve gone back to the same places I went to when I was a child in Donegal and Meath. They loved it.
“Their granddad has drilled it into them that if they’re any good at anything, it’s Ireland they have to represent. When he said it, they took it all in. So that’s one issue done and dusted then.”
People arguing that we don’t need him are ignorant, I love Troy Parrott and think Evan Ferguson will have a great career.
But it’s a squad game and he’d be a huge asset for Ireland going forward the more players like Liam we have the better.
One interesting angle to this is that father Rory is currently unemployed after most recently being assistant manager to Robbie Keane at Ferencvárosi.
Given Heimir’s insistence about utilising long throws (even though we’re ineffective from them) I wouldn’t be against a double swoop for both.
It should be noted that younger brother Finn Delap (20) and 2005 born is currently at Burton Albion and is a talented defender who could easily become an option for our U21s.
COME HOME LADS! 🇮🇪 #COYBIG

@ryan3levis we need to look forward instead of looking back on Thursday, yes it was a terrible loss but we need to realise how far we have come, and how far we can go now in the future, with us basically guaranteed euro 2028 qualification
